We’re Manu and Vir—an Argentine and a Malagueño whose paths crossed by one of those coincidences that change everything.
Vir grew up surrounded by creativity and kitchens. In her home, creativity was just another ingredient: the smell of home-cooked meals, the full table, and the stories told between bites.
Her love for gastronomy started there—by the stoves of her grandmothers, Lidia and Maruca, Italian-rooted women who cooked with the kind of love you measure in ladles.
At home, her parents, Isabela and Jorge, did everything from scratch—with time, care, and flavor.
Later came design, communication, and ideas. One day she realized her thing was combining it all: what’s seen, what’s said, and what’s felt.
Manu was always more grounded. More into walking, observing, and listening. Life led the way—until he met Vir. He joined the project without overthinking it, but with the certainty that there was something different here. Something worth building.
That’s how Los Gastro was born.
